Create a folder

When you create an item, you have the option to choose a folder from the dropdown. Add ease to your workflow and create all your folders before you start adding items. For example, if you use multiple online services to help you create and sell your merchandise, you can create a folder called commerce or store.

NOTE ✦

Folders are only visible to you in your individual vault. To share a group of passwords across your organization, use Collections.

To create a folder:

  1. Click the New dropdown in the Bitwarden vault, and select Folder.

  2. Enter a Name for the folder.

  3. Click Save.

Folders are visible in the Filters Menu. You have the option to rename, nest, and move the items in folders.
